The R 18 Transcontinental is BMW's full-dresser tourer and the most luxurious trim level of the R 18 family. In addition to the R 18 B, it features a 48-liter top case with passenger backrest, heated seats for rider and pillion, heated handlebars, and a complete entertainment system. The chassis is optimized for long-distance riding with high loads – the Big Boxer powers the 427 kg machine effortlessly even on long highway stretches.
