History.

Since 1961 in Marktschorgast — the Franconian premium motorhome brand is today part of the French Pilote Group.

Frankia was founded in 1961 in Marktschorgast in Upper Franconia and established itself as a premium manufacturer of semi-integrated and fully integrated motorhomes. Characteristic features: high-quality final assembly, in-house engineering depth, and a clear premium ambition in interior fit-out.

Since 2007, Frankia-GP GmbH has been part of the French Pilote Group, one of the major European motorhome conglomerates. The main plant and final assembly remain in Marktschorgast. With the newer brand Yucon by Frankia, the company expanded its lineup in 2020 to include a standalone camper van and pickup line.
