History.
Founded in 1981 with the Liner model "Clou" — to this day one of the most renowned premium addresses in German motorhome manufacturing.
The history of Niesmann+Bischoff begins in 1981 in Polch in the Eifel region with the model "Clou" — a fully integrated liner that was positioned in the premium segment from the very start. The company consistently placed itself above the volume brands: long final assembly times, high-quality materials, exclusive equipment, and a comparatively small number of units per year.
In 1991, Niesmann+Bischoff joined the Hymer Group — marking Erwin Hymer's first major acquisition. Today, Niesmann+Bischoff is an integral part of the Erwin Hymer Group and, since 2019, a member of US-based Thor Industries Inc. The model lineup features the Flair, Arto, and Smove series, covering a range of size and price segments — with the main plant and final assembly remaining unchanged in Polch.
