Since 1923, BMW Motorrad has been building motorcycles, and since 1969 exclusively at the Berlin location of Spandau. With around 200,000 units per year, the plant is one of the largest premium motorcycle manufacturers in Europe and home to the legendary boxer models GS, R and RT.
