The R 1300 RT is the uncrowned king of long-distance riding and has been the flagship of BMW touring bikes for decades. The new generation combines the 145 PS ShiftCam boxer engine with a completely redesigned full fairing, electrically adjustable windscreen, and heated grips as well as seat heating as standard. The adaptive cornering light with Matrix LED ensures perfect illumination even on nighttime mountain roads. As the first BMW, the RT features radar-based ACC (Active Cruise Control), which automatically maintains the distance to the vehicle ahead. With integrated luggage mounts, Front Collision Warning, and blind spot assist, the RT elevates the touring class to automotive standards.
