The F 900 GS is the mid-range GS, filling the gap between the entry-level F 800 GS and the flagship R 1300 GS. With 105 PS from the 895 ccm parallel twin and a kerb weight of just 219 kg, it positions itself as a light, agile off-road bike. Compared to the previous generation, over 14 kg have been saved – through a revised frame, new exhaust silencer, and lighter wheels. The newly developed suspension with 230 mm of travel at the front wheel delivers genuine enduro quality. Three riding modes, ABS Pro, dynamic traction control, and a 6.5-inch TFT display with connectivity come as standard. The GS targets active off-road riders who find the 1300 too heavy and the 800 too underpowered.
