The R 18 Roctane is the muscle-packed outsider of the R 18 family, aimed at cruiser riders with performance ambitions. The 21-inch front wheel, the low drag-bar handlebar, and the all-black blackout styling give it an aggressive, menacing presence. The 1.802cc Big Boxer remains unchanged at 91 PS and 158 Nm, but is complemented by a more sportily tuned chassis. The riding position is leaned forward and inviting for dynamic rides. Panniers with 27 Liter capacity each and a sissy bar as standard equipment still make it suitable for touring. The Roctane targets young, style-conscious riders who find the classic R 18 too tame.
