The R 12 nineT is the successor to the legendary R nineT and continues the tradition of the modern classic. With 109 PS from the air-cooled 1,170 cc Boxer engine, it delivers noticeably more power than the R 12 and targets purist roadster riders. The classic design with its round LED headlight, upright riding position, and exposed Boxer engine remains unchanged – what has been modernized is the electronics and exhaust treatment for Euro 5+. Four riding modes, ABS Pro, dynamic traction control, and an analog main instrument with a digital secondary display form the technical foundation. The nineT remains one of the most popular customizing platforms worldwide: swingarm covers, tank pads, and exhaust systems can be easily personalized.
