The R 1300 RS is BMW Motorrad's sporty tourer with a clear long-distance DNA. The new half-fairing provides excellent wind protection without compromising agility, while the 1,300cc ShiftCam boxer engine with 145 PS delivers performance befitting its class. The sporty seating concept with a slight forward lean and comfortable leg angles enables dynamic riding as well as relaxed touring stages. As an RS model, it competes in the sport-touring class: adaptive cornering light, electronic suspension control DSA, cruise control, and six riding modes are all part of the package. An optional luggage system makes it a reliable companion for Alpine rides and cross-country tours.
