Until 2024 the world's only series manufacturer of road-going diesel motorcycles; since then specializing in conversions, workshop services, and spare parts. The manufactory in Bergen-Geyern, Bavaria, builds rugged machines on the basis of Hatz and Kubota diesel engines, offering extreme longevity and unusually low fuel consumption.

Sommer Diesel 462
Discontinued model – no longer in the current lineup
Classic diesel motorcycle with the single-cylinder Hatz 1B40: 462 ccm, 11 PS and approximately 26 Nm of torque. Combined with a 4-speed gearbox and 13.5-Liter tank, the machine reaches approximately 99 km/h – defining characteristics are longevity, robustness and an exceptionally low diesel consumption.

Further developed diesel motorcycle featuring the larger single-cylinder Hatz 1B50: 516 ccm, approximately 12 PS and a 5-speed gearbox specially designed for Sommer. The 16-liter tank allows ranges beyond 600 km at approximately 2.5 l/100 km – top speed just over 100 km/h.
