The M 1000 XR is BMW's M interpretation of the sport-adventure class and the most powerful sport-touring machine in the motorcycle lineup. With 201 PS from the 999 ccm four-cylinder, an upright riding position, and a 20-l tank, it combines supersport performance with touring comfort. Winglets, carbon-look elements, and the M exhaust trim highlight its motorsport credentials. Unlike the S 1000 XR, the M version features ShiftCam valve timing, Race Pro riding modes, and Launch Control. Öhlins suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, and an optional carbon wheel set clearly elevate it above the standard variant. For riders who want to set benchmarks on an alpine tour just as much as on the racetrack.
