The BMW X1 of the U11 series is the third generation of the entry-level SUV and has been built on the FAAR platform since 2022. With a length of 4.50 meters and a raised seating position, it offers the classic SUV sense of space without becoming too large. The interior features the BMW Curved Display with a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and 10.7-inch touchscreen, Operating System 9, and a minimalist center console without a traditional gear lever. The X1 is powered by efficient 3- and 4-cylinder petrol engines and TwinPower diesels with 48-volt mild hybrid, the plug-in hybrid variants xDrive25e and xDrive30e, as well as the M35i xDrive as the sporty top model with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo and 300 PS. xDrive all-wheel drive is available in several variants, and the driver assistance systems cover everything from a traffic jam assistant to a Parking Assistant Plus. The X1 is produced at the BMW plant in Regensburg alongside the fully electric iX1.
