The BMW 4 Series Convertible of the G23 model series brings the emotion of open-top driving back to the midsize segment, deliberately opting for a classic three-layer fabric soft top that opens or closes electro-hydraulically in around 18 seconds – even while driving (up to 50 km/h). The model series shares its technology and drivetrains with the Coupé, featuring extensive body reinforcement and a low seating position to preserve the dynamic driving experience even without a roof. Inside, the BMW Curved Display with a 12.3" instrument cluster and 14.9" touchscreen impresses. On the engine side, the choices include efficient four-cylinder turbos, the 430d xDrive diesel, and at the top of the range the M440i xDrive with a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder biturbo producing 374 PS. All drivetrains are equipped with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. The convertible is produced at the BMW plant in Dingolfing.
