The BMW iX2 is the fully electric variant of the X2 SUV coupé, sharing its platform (FAAR), body type, and interior with the combustion engine version, yet impressing with its own distinctive iX Signature style: blue accents on the light signature surround and BMW emblems, along with iX-specific paint finishes, are available as options. Beneath the body type, the 64.7-kWh high-voltage battery works in concert with the fifth-generation electric motor(s). In the xDrive30, two electric motors deliver 313 PS and all-wheel drive, while the eDrive20 with front-wheel drive achieves up to 478 km of WLTP range with 204 PS. DC charging at up to 130 kW enables a 10-to-80-% charge in around 29 minutes. The BMW Curved Display with Operating System 9 and optional head-up display, adaptive recuperation, and IconicSounds Electric round out the digital driving experience. The iX2 is produced alongside the X2 at the BMW plant in Regensburg.
