With the M3 Touring of the G81 series, BMW M has for the first time in the M3's over 40-year history added a station wagon variant to its lineup, fulfilling a long-held wish of enthusiasts. Technically, the Touring is based on the M3 Competition sedan with M xDrive and offers the same 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder biturbo S58 with 510 PS and 650 Nm, which delivers its power to the road via an 8-speed M Steptronic and a switchable all-wheel drive. The wide track, distinctive front fenders made of plastic, and the integrated rear with an M-specific roof spoiler underscore the performance character, while the luggage compartment of 500 to 1,510 Liter offers plenty of space for a racetrack weekend with the family. Inside, the BMW Curved Display, carbon trim strips, optional carbon bucket seats, and the classic gear selector define the ambiance. The M3 Touring is produced together with the sedan and the 3 Series in Munich.
