The BMW X2 of the U10 series is the second generation of the SUV coupé from Regensburg, reinterpreting the compact X1 platform with a coupé-typical low roofline, a distinctly low rear section featuring 3D LED lights, and distinctive front proportions. At 4.55 meters in length and with a roofline approximately 3 centimeters lower than the X1, it positions itself as the younger, sportier alternative to the classic compact SUV. Inside, it features the BMW Curved Display, Operating System 9, and comfort sport seats. In terms of engines, the X2 offers efficient 3- and 4-cylinder petrol and diesel units with 48-volt mild hybrid technology, plug-in hybrid variants, and the M35i xDrive as the flagship model with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo producing 317 PS. The X2 is produced at the BMW plant in Regensburg alongside the iX2.
