The second-generation Mercedes-Benz GLC (series X254, since 2022) is one of the best-selling premium SUVs worldwide and the top-selling model among Mercedes SUVs. Sharing its technical DNA with the current C-Class, it offers 48-volt mild-hybrid technology as standard across all combustion engine variants, a modern suspension setup with optional air suspension and rear-wheel steering, as well as state-of-the-art driver assistance systems. The highlight of the lineup is the GLC 300 e 4MATIC plug-in hybrid: with a 31.2-kWh battery, it achieves up to 130 km of purely electric range (WLTP) and charges at up to 60 kW DC — a class benchmark. At the top sits the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S E Performance with 680 PS of system output. Inside, the experience is dominated by MBUX with an 11.9-inch portrait display and an optional head-up display. The GLC for Europe is manufactured at the Bremen plant.
