The Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabrio (series A236) is the open-top sibling of the CLE Coupé, bringing together the tradition of four-seat premium convertibles from the C-Class and E-Class Cabrio under a new model series. The classic soft top opens in around 20 seconds at speeds of up to 60 km/h, making it easy to operate even in city traffic at traffic lights. The convertible's signature comfort package includes the Aircap wind deflector, Airscarf neck-level heating, and optional climate-controlled seats — Mercedes-Benz comfort even in cooler temperatures. The CLE Cabrio is powered by four-cylinder petrol engines and inline six-cylinder diesel engines, each with 48-volt MHEV technology, as well as the AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ with 449 PS. Production takes place at the Bremen plant, which has specialized in convertible manufacturing for decades.
