The Mercedes-Benz GLA (model series H247, since 2020) combines the elevated seating position and rugged SUV character with the compact exterior dimensions of the A-Class. As a rival to the BMW X1 and Audi Q3, it relies on MBUX infotainment with two high-resolution displays, premium materials throughout the interior, and a wide-ranging engine lineup: four-cylinder petrol engines with 48-volt mild hybrid, efficient TDI diesels, and the GLA 250 e Plug-in-Hybrid with up to 74 km of electric range cover every driving profile. At the top of the range sits the AMG GLA 45 S 4MATIC+ with 421 PS and all-wheel drive. With standard collision avoidance and numerous driver assistance packages, the GLA ranks among the safety and comfort benchmarks in its class. It is manufactured at the Rastatt plant, where it shares the line with the A-Class, CLA, and CLA Electric.
