The new Mercedes-Benz CLA Sedan (series C178) debuts in 2025 as a completely newly developed four-door coupé built on the future-proof Mercedes Modular Architecture (MMA). The distinctive frameless doors, the sporty silhouette, and the 142 individually illuminated chrome stars in the LED front grille define the design statement of the new compact-class family. Inside, the MB.OS operating system, the optional MBUX Superscreen spanning the full width of the cockpit, and the new AI-based assistance system with Google integration all make a strong impression. The combustion engine variants come with 1.5-l four-cylinder petrol engines and 48-volt mild hybrid technology in three power outputs ranging from 156 to 211 PS, with a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The CLA Sedan is manufactured at the German lead plant in Rastatt as well as at the Hungarian partner plant in Kecskemét.
