The VW ID.7 Tourer is the estate variant of the ID.7 and was introduced in 2024 as the first purely electric full-size estate in the VW lineup. Like the saloon, it is produced at the Emden plant and shares the MEB platform and all its technology with it. Compared to the saloon, the Tourer offers a significantly expanded luggage compartment with a base volume of 605 Liters and a maximum of 1,714 Liters, a flat load floor, and a practical electric tailgate. The variants are identical to the saloon: ID.7 Tourer Pro with 286 PS and a 77-kWh net battery (approx. 605 km WLTP), ID.7 Tourer Pro S with an 86-kWh battery and up to 690 km WLTP, and the ID.7 Tourer GTX as a dual-motor all-wheel drive version with 340 PS system output and up to 584 km of range. The Tourer thus ranks alongside the Pro S as a benchmark for range in the segment of electric business estates, and is aimed particularly at fleet customers and high-mileage drivers.
