The Audi A8 is the flagship sedan of the brand and represents Audi's technological vanguard in the luxury segment. Built on an aluminum-steel hybrid body (Audi Space Frame), it combines effortless driving characteristics with extensive equipment and a lounge-level interior. The engine lineup includes efficient V6 mild-hybrid TFSI and TDI variants, the plug-in hybrid A8 60 TFSI e quattro, and the top-of-the-range S8 with a V8 biturbo and 571 PS. As the long-wheelbase A8 L, the sedan is also available with comfort-focused rear passenger options such as relaxation seats with leg rest and massage function. Active Body Control based on a 48-volt fully active suspension delivers a uniquely refined driving experience. The A8 is built at the Audi plant in Neckarsulm, where it is assembled on the manual production line.
