The Audi A4 Avant of the B9 series (plant code 8W) was produced from November 2015 to the end of 2024 at Audi's main plant in Ingolstadt, and over nine model years it established itself as one of the icons among premium estate cars. The series offered a crisply styled silhouette, a versatile boot ranging from 495 to 1,495 litres, and a high-quality interior featuring Virtual Cockpit and MMI Touch. The Avant was available with efficient 2.0 TFSI and TDI engines that made standard use of a 12-volt mild-hybrid system, as well as the sporting S4 TDI and the RS 4 Avant with its 2.9-litre V6 biturbo producing 450 PS. quattro all-wheel drive, Matrix LED headlights, and sophisticated driver assistance systems rounded out the premium package. With the model transition to the new A5 series (PPC platform), the A4 Avant was discontinued in 2024.
