The Audi A4 saloon of the B9 series (plant code 8W) was manufactured from November 2015 to the end of 2024 at Audi's main plant in Ingolstadt, and over nine model years became synonymous with business suitability, distinctive design, and confident driving characteristics in the upper mid-size segment. The series presented itself with precise lines, a roofline drawn far to the rear, and a high-quality interior featuring Virtual Cockpit and MMI touch display. Under the hood, efficient 2.0 TFSI petrol engines and TDI diesel units with a 12-volt mild hybrid system were at work, while the range was topped by the S4 variant with a V6 TDI and an electrically assisted compressor, as well as the RS 4 Avant as the flagship model. quattro all-wheel drive, progressive steering, adaptive dampers, and a wide array of driver assistance systems — from the adaptive driving assistant to the Park Assist Plus — made the A4 saloon a go-to choice for high-mileage drivers and company car customers. With the model transition to the new A5 series (PPC platform), the A4 saloon was discontinued in 2024.
