The Audi A7 Sportback of the C8 series (plant code 4K) was manufactured from early 2018 to late 2024 at the Audi plant in Neckarsulm, combining the elegant silhouette of a four-door Gran Turismo with the everyday practicality of a large tailgate and a versatile load compartment. Throughout its entire production run, the series offered an extensive drivetrain portfolio ranging from efficient mild-hybrid TFSI and TDI engines and the plug-in hybrid A7 55 TFSI e quattro to the S7 TDI with V6 twin-turbo diesel and the high-performance RS 7 performance with V8 twin-turbo and 630 PS. The interior was dominated by a digital cockpit featuring Virtual Cockpit and two MMI touch displays with haptic feedback. Adaptive air suspension, all-wheel steering, and comprehensive driver assistance systems including parking and maneuvering assistants underscored its premium positioning. With the model transition to the fully electric A6 e-tron Sportback generation, the A7 Sportback was discontinued in 2024.
