The Porsche Macan Electric (type XAB) has been the fully electric second generation of the Macan since May 2024, and is the first model from Porsche built on the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE), developed jointly with Audi (Q6 e-tron). It is manufactured at the Porsche plant in Leipzig alongside the outgoing combustion engine Macan (95B) and later the Panamera — on a flexible mixed-model line. Technically, the Macan Electric features an 800 V architecture with a 100 kWh gross battery (95 kWh net), DC charging capacity of up to 270 kW (10–80% in 21 min), and WLTP ranges of up to 641 km in the most efficient model, the Macan 4. The lineup includes the variants Macan (360 PS, rear-wheel drive), Macan 4 (408 PS), Macan 4S (516 PS), Macan GTS (571 PS), and Macan Turbo (639 PS). At the top of the range, the Macan Turbo accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 260 km/h. Porsche provides an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty on the high-voltage battery.
