The Porsche 911 has been the epitome of the sports car since 1963 and has always been built in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. The current eighth generation (series 992) was revised in May 2024 to become the 992.2, and with the Carrera GTS T-Hybrid introduced the first series-production hybrid in the history of the 911. The 3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer engine of the GTS works together with an electrically driven turbocharger and a 1.9-kWh high-voltage system to deliver 541 PS of system output — 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 s, top speed 312 km/h. The range includes the 911 Carrera (394 PS), Carrera T, Carrera GTS T-Hybrid, Carrera 4 GTS, Targa 4 GTS, Turbo, Turbo S (650 PS), the GT models GT3 and GT3 RS, as well as the limited anniversary model 911 S/T. All variants are offered as a coupé, cabriolet, or — exclusively for all-wheel drive — Targa. Production takes place on the iconic Zuffenhausen line, which is operated jointly with the Taycan and 718.
