The Mercedes-Benz Unimog (high-mobility off-road U 4023 / U 5023) is the most legendary off-road vehicle in the world. With portal axles, a welded cranked frame (up to 600 mm diagonal twist), 1.2 m wading depth and 100% gradeability, it conquers any terrain. The OM 934 four-cylinder diesel delivers 170 kW (231 PS) and 900 Nm of torque at low engine speeds. The 8-speed EPS manual gearbox with off-road reduction offers very short creep gears. Fields of use: fire service (TLF, LF), THW, disaster relief, expedition vehicles for overlanding as far as Patagonia. A double cab for troop transport and special superstructures of all kinds are available.
