The Mercedes-Benz Zetros is the iconic bonneted vehicle for extreme off-road operations. Built at the world's largest truck assembly plant in Wörth am Rhein, the Zetros combines over 120 years of Daimler Truck expertise with rugged off-road technology. The distinctive bonnet concept protects driver and engine during rollovers and rock impacts, while the all-wheel drive variants 4x4 and 6x6 handle virtually any off-road situation. Primary applications include mining tankers in Finland, expedition vehicles for overlanding across Africa, specialist fire-fighting vehicles, construction in undeveloped regions, and the energy sector (e.g. pipeline construction).
