The Mercedes-Benz eArocs 400 is the first fully electric construction truck from Mercedes-Benz Trucks, bringing battery-electric drive to the job site. As a four-axle vehicle (8x4/4) with two LFP battery packs and 414 kWh of installed capacity, it achieves up to 240 km as a tipper or 200 km as a drum mixer — enough for a full work shift without intermediate charging. The central electric motor with integrated 3-speed transmission delivers 380 kW continuous and 450 kW peak output; the 800-volt architecture supports CCS2 charging at up to 400 kW via charging sockets on both sides of the vehicle (10–80% in approximately 46 minutes). A power take-off from the second-generation electric truck platform powers electrified bodies such as the fully electric drum mixer CIFA Energya E10 or the Liebherr HTM 905. Following its world premiere at bauma 2025, the eArocs 400 has been available to order since April 2026; the base vehicle will be produced from the third quarter of 2026 at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth am Rhein, with the integration of the electric drivetrain handled by Paul Group in Vilshofen, Bavaria.
