CaraHome

The CaraHome is Weinsberg's classic alcove motorhome and thus the family model of the brand. While modern semi-integrated and fully integrated motorhomes rely on drop-down bed solutions, the CaraHome consistently embraces the traditional alcove design above the cab – a permanently built-in double bed for children or guests, accessible via a ladder. Based on the Fiat Ducato with a 140 PS entry-level engine (or optionally more powerful engines), it covers lengths from 5.97 to 6.99 m. At a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 t, it remains drivable with a standard category B driving licence. Four floor plans are available: 550 MG (single beds transverse at the front, bathroom at the rear), 600 DKG (double bed at the rear, bunk bed), 650 DG (double bed at the rear, children's room) and 650 MEG (single beds at the rear). In all variants, up to six people sleep comfortably, and six seat belts are standard. With a starting price from €65,230, the CaraHome is the classic, affordable family motorhome in the Weinsberg line-up – a segment that none of the Knaus sister models cover, as Knaus currently offers no alcove motorhome in its range.
