CaraBus

The CaraBus is Weinsberg's affordable entry into the panel van segment and the counterpart to the Knaus BoxLife from the same plant in Jandelsbrunn. Based on the Fiat Ducato, it covers the complete spectrum with six floor plans and lengths ranging from 5.41 to 6.36 m — from the compact camper (540 MQ with transverse bed) to the 6.36 m model with single beds at the rear. At a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 t, it remains drivable with a standard category B driving licence. As a unique selling point, Weinsberg offers a choice of three roof variants: classic high roof for maximum interior height, MQH roof for a combined balance of driving dynamics and living space height, or a pop-up roof for additional sleeping berths for family use. With a starting price of 54,650 euros, the CaraBus positions itself clearly below competing models such as the Pössl Summit or the Knaus BoxLife Pro, making it the price-aggressive model within the Knaus Tabbert Group for newcomers to van life.
