Yucon V-city

The Yucon V-city is the deliberately streamlined entry-level version of the Yucon range, positioned clearly below the 6.0-BD and 6.0-GD series — both in terms of price and equipment. Like all Yucon models, it is based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a length of 6.00 m and a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 t, allowing it to be driven with a standard category B licence. The key differences from the higher-spec Yucon models lie in the engine and drivetrain concept: the V-city uses a 150 PS engine (compared to 190 PS in the K-peak), a manual gearbox (instead of the usual automatic transmission options), and rear-wheel drive with no all-wheel drive option. This makes the V-city the right choice for customers who want a high-quality camper van layout on a Mercedes-Benz platform but can do without a powerful engine and all-wheel drive — for example, because the vehicle is used primarily for everyday driving on paved roads. A defining design feature of the V-city is its deliberately understated "stealth look," free of eye-catching exterior graphics or off-road accents, which allows the V-city to blend into urban traffic as inconspicuously as possible — an advantage for customers who also want to use their camper van as an everyday vehicle.
