Yucon 6.0 BD

The Yucon 6.0 BD is the compact transverse-bed variant of the 6-meter camper van series from Yucon, differing from the 6.0 GD through its space-saving transverse bed in the rear instead of longitudinal single beds. Like the entire Yucon range, it is based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a length of 6.00 m and a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 or 4.1 t — with the 3.5 t variant allowing operation with a standard category B driving licence. The "BD" abbreviation in the floor plan name stands for Yucon's transverse bed (wide bed) in the rear — a configuration that keeps the rear area more compact and frees up more space in the front for the seating area and kitchen. The 6.0 BD can optionally be equipped with a pop-up roof that creates two additional sleeping berths, accommodating up to four people simultaneously — a popular configuration for couples who occasionally travel with friends or children. The 6.0 BD is positioned as the entry point into the Yucon 6-meter range and as an alternative configuration to the 6.0 GD, which serves a different usage profile with longitudinal single beds and a larger rear garage.
