The Palace Liner S-Way is the only Morelo model based on the Iveco S-Way and a deliberate alternative to the Mercedes truck liners Empire Liner and Grand Empire. The target audience consists of travelers who appreciate the distinctive Iveco front end and the truck's characteristic engine personality, or who already operate an Iveco fleet. The base is the Iveco S-Way 190 S34 or S40 with the 8.7-liter Cursor 9 diesel engine and 340 or 400 PS respectively. With lengths ranging from 9.59 to 11.28 m and a gross vehicle weight of 18 t, the Palace Liner S-Way firmly belongs to the truck class and requires a Class C driver's license. As a unique selling point, it offers a fully insulated, thermal-bridge-free rear garage — a feature that Morelo does not implement with the same level of consistency in its other truck liners. Ten floor plans cover couple and duo layouts. Within the Morelo lineup, the Palace Liner S-Way is positioned between the Empire Liner (Atego) and the Grand Empire (Actros) — a premium truck alternative with Iveco DNA.
