The Grand Empire is the flagship of Morelo and the largest, heaviest, and most premium motorhome in the entire German lineup. It is based on the Mercedes-Benz Actros – a heavy truck tractor unit – with inline six-cylinder engines producing up to 530 PS and air suspension. With lengths ranging from 10.05 to 11.99 m and gross vehicle weights of 18 to 26 t, it is a rolling villa, not a conventional motorhome. The defining technical feature is the standard slide-out: a hydraulically extendable living space extension adds 45 cm of additional width on one side when stationary, expanding the interior to a total width of up to 2.85 m. The rear garage accommodates vehicles up to 4.10 m in length – sufficient for a compact passenger car plus a motorcycle. 19 floor plans cover everything from couple to family liner configurations. Within the Morelo lineup, the Grand Empire stands unrivaled at the top, well above the Palace Liner S-Way (Iveco) and the Empire Liner (Atego).
