The Genius is a distinctive hybrid concept within the Malibu lineup, defying classification as either a conventional panel van conversion or a classic motorhome — deliberately transcending the usual segment boundaries. It is based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, optionally available with factory all-wheel drive; its defining feature is a GRP sandwich rear extension that stretches the Sprinter to 6.41 m in length while creating an additional 1,400 Liter of storage space — a figure that clearly places it in the category of fully integrated motorhomes with rear garages. This extension also makes it possible to accommodate longitudinal single beds exceeding 2 m in length, comfortably suited for taller travellers. The two-room interior concept continues Malibu's First Class philosophy, while pairing it with all-wheel drive and the Sprinter platform — a combination that appeals to off-road enthusiasts and winter travellers alike. The starting weight of 3.5 t allows the vehicle to be driven on a standard class B licence — a remarkable achievement for a vehicle of this length and specification.
