The Globebus Performance 4x4 is Dethleffs' first all-wheel drive motorhome, aimed at adventurous couples and small families who want to leave paved roads behind without sacrificing living comfort. Built on the VW Crafter 4Motion with a 2.0-liter TDI, 163 PS (120 kW), 8-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and differential lock, the vehicle enables safe progress even in adverse conditions. Two floor plans are available: the T 16 with a length of 6.25 m and a gross weight of 3.5 t (drivable with a category B license), or the T 46 with a length of 6.85 m and 3.88 t. Standard on board: a 150 Ah lithium battery for off-grid capability, a 6 kW diesel heater, a 70 cm wide habitation door, and the SCU-lite control center. Air suspension (T 46) and a raised chassis underscore the off-road character, while the optional 5G Wi-Fi enables ideal connectivity away from main routes. Awarded the German Design Award Gold and the iF Design Award 2026.
