The Opel Astra L is the sixth generation of the long-established compact class model range and has been produced at the Rüsselsheim main plant on the Stellantis STLA Medium platform since January 2022. As a five-door hatchback, it presents Opel's new design concept featuring the Vizor face, a continuous light band at the rear, and a fully digital Pure Panel cockpit. The engine lineup ranges from the efficient 1.2 three-cylinder turbo with 110 to 145 PS and the 1.5 diesel with 130 PS to the 1.6 turbo plug-in hybrid with 180 or 225 PS (GSe) and up to 60 km of pure electric range. Standard equipment includes LED headlights, driver assistance systems up to Level 2, and Opel's Intelli-Drive 1.5. The Astra marks Opel's return to a clear design language and high-quality workmanship in the compact class segment.
