With the fully electric Capri, Ford revives one of its most iconic model names — as a modern coupé SUV with a steeply raking roofline, sporty proportions, and MEB platform technology from the Volkswagen modular toolkit. Series production started in September 2024 at the Ford plant Köln-Niehl, which was fully converted to battery-electric vehicles as part of its transformation into the Cologne Electric Vehicle Center. The Capri is available as a rear-wheel drive version with 286 PS or as an all-wheel drive variant with 340 PS; two battery sizes of 77 or 79 kWh enable a WLTP range of up to 627 km. The sprint from zero to 100 km/h takes 6.4 and 5.3 s respectively, with a top speed of 180 km/h. Inside, a vertically oriented 14.6-inch SYNC Move display, a dedicated soundbar, and premium materials define the upmarket ambition. DC charging is possible at up to 185 kW (10–80% in approx. 26 min).
