Independent

The Independent is CS Reisemobile's flagship vehicle in the category of self-sufficient, off-road-capable panel vans. Built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with permanent all-wheel drive and a raised suspension, it combines a generously sized rear cross-bed (up to 1.95 m × 1.42 m) with a clearly defined off-grid package: a 235 Ah gel battery (optional lithium), a 160 W solar panel, a Truma Combi D diesel heater, and a 90 l compressor refrigerator. The 100 l fresh water tank is housed in a heated double floor. With the 190 PS Sprinter and 9-speed automatic transmission plus 4-ETS traction control, the Independent handles unpaved tracks, snow, and steep approaches with ease. CS Reisemobile builds every Independent in its in-house workshop in Henstedt-Ulzburg — HPL-coated plywood and modular furniture ensure durability even under harsh conditions.
