The Mercedes-Benz eSprinter chassis is the fully electric platform for special-purpose bodies of all kinds and is manufactured at the Ludwigsfelde plant. It is aimed at body manufacturers, municipalities, and logistics companies that rely on zero-emission specialist vehicles – from refrigerated box bodies and tippers to electric motorhome chassis. Two battery sizes (81 or 113 kWh) offer ranges of up to 478 km according to WLTP. The electric motor delivers a peak output of 100 or 150 kW; DC fast charging at up to 115 kW ensures practical downtime. The compact battery integration keeps the frame clear for bodywork – including power take-offs and a high-voltage interface for electric work equipment.
