Porsche 911 GT3 S/C: open naturally aspirated GT3 with manual transmission makes its debut
Porsche has unveiled the 911 GT3 S/C – the first GT3 with a fully automatic fabric convertible top. The two-seater from Zuffenhausen combines a 510 PS naturally aspirated engine with an exclusively manual six-speed gearbox.
The 911 GT3 S/C is a tribute to purist driving pleasure: as the first GT3, it features a fully automatic soft top and is a pure two-seater inspired by the 911 Speedster. Under the hood, a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six delivers 510 PS, revving up to 9,000 rpm — paired exclusively with a manual six-speed gearbox.
Weighing 1,497 kilograms unladen, the sports car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 313 km/h. Unlike previous special editions, the GT3 S/C is not limited in production numbers and is available to order immediately. The world premiere took place as an unconventional digital presentation.
The 911, like the entire Elfer lineup, is manufactured at Porsche's main plant in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.
