BoxTime

The BoxTime is Knaus' latest panel van, which from model year 2026 supplements the camper van portfolio at the top end and heralds a new technological step. Built on the Fiat Ducato with a standard 9-speed automatic transmission, it is aimed at technology-savvy travelers who want to combine state-of-the-art materials with maximum driving comfort. At its heart is the newly developed LightWeight Technology: a construction method with improved insulation and significantly reduced weight, combined with 100% recyclable materials in the interior fit-out. This positions the BoxTime as the sustainability flagship in the Knaus camper van lineup. The three floor plans match the established BoxLife in exterior dimensions (5.41 to 6.36 m), but offer a newly developed furniture concept with a floating aesthetic and a revised bathroom layout. As a counterpoint to the conventionally built BoxLife – and an alternative to the slimmer Van TI series – the BoxTime targets customers for whom modern technology and CO₂ footprint matter more than the absolute lowest entry price.
