The Duncan is Karmann-Mobil's most compact camper van, positioned as a multi-story car park-compatible mini-van solution for buyers seeking a constant companion for urban use and weekend trips. Built on the Ford Tourneo Custom with a Ford 2.0-litre engine producing up to 170 PS, the model range offers three floor plans: DU 500 (5,050 mm length, 2,483 kg, five seats), DU 505 (5,050 mm length, 2,533 kg, seven seats) and DU 550 (5,450 mm length, 2,686 kg, four seats). The overall height of just 2.05 m makes the vehicle suitable for multi-story car parks — a decisive advantage over classic panel vans, which typically stand taller than 2.55 m. The pop-up roof provides standing height when stationary and an additional sleeping berth beneath the roofline. Despite its compact exterior dimensions, the Duncan comes fully equipped for camping: a 2-burner hob with cover, sink with worktop, 42-litre refrigerator, electric step, and — in the DU 545 — a 4 kW heater.
