The chic s-plus is Carthago's luxury top-of-the-line range and the only fully integrated series in the portfolio built on the premium Iveco Daily chassis — significantly more robustly dimensioned than the Mercedes and Fiat platforms that underpin the rest of the lineup. This reflects a clear differentiation strategy: where the chic c-line and chic e-line rely on the Fiat Ducato and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter respectively, the chic s-plus receives the more substantial underpinning for higher gross vehicle weights and greater payload capacity — a factor that quickly becomes a deciding criterion on long-distance journeys with extensive equipment. With lengths ranging from 7.91 to 8.86 m and a gross vehicle weight of up to 6.7 t, it sits firmly in the C1 licence category — the optional tandem axle eases handling despite the impressive dimensions. The three-litre Iveco diesel delivers confident power even on mountain routes, while the characteristic Carthago double floor with its well-known usable underfloor height and the level living area floor retain the brand's signature. The bathroom is more generously sized in this series, and the underfloor compartment becomes a self-sufficiency-ready technical hub with room for larger battery systems and water reserves.
