The MINI Countryman, now in its third generation (U25), has been the largest model in the MINI family since November 2023 and is being built in Germany for the first time — at the BMW plant in Leipzig, alongside the BMW 1 Series and 2 Series Active Tourer. Built on the BMW UKL platform, the model range combines combustion engine and fully electric drivetrains while bringing distinctive MINI design elements such as the circular radiator grille and octagonal silhouette to the SUV segment. The interior debuts the new circular 9.4-inch OLED display, which controls central navigation, climate, driving modes, and MINI Experience modes. The Countryman C starts as a 170 PS mild-hybrid petrol engine, the ALL4 all-wheel drive variant S delivers 218 PS, the John Cooper Works ALL4 produces 300 PS, and the fully electric Countryman SE ALL4 offers up to 313 PS with a 433 km WLTP range. The Countryman U25 is produced at the BMW plant in Leipzig on a mixed line handling both combustion engine and electric drivetrains.
