The Tesla Model Y has been produced at the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg in Grünheide since March 2022 and has been one of Europe's best-selling electric vehicles for years. In early 2025, it received its comprehensive Juniper facelift: continuous LED light signatures at the front and rear, Matrix LED headlights, new interior materials, improved noise insulation, and redesigned seats. As a compact SUV, the Model Y combines a raised entry and flexible interior use (including an optional 7-seater layout and foldable rear seats) with a spacious trunk including a frunk. For 2025/26, Tesla offers the new Standard Maximum Range rear-wheel drive with up to 657 km WLTP range, the Long Range all-wheel drive version with 600 km, and the Performance variant with 460 PS and 580 km. The Model Y uses the Tesla Supercharger network and continuously receives over-the-air updates.
