The Company

HOFFMANN Fördertechnik GmbH Wurzen was set off on January the 1st 1948 in Wurzen, South of Berlin. Since 1952we have been manufacturing electric chain hoists. Today we have fully specialised on these products and are able to offer the most comprehensive range of these lifting tools in the world. We start at capacities of 125 kg and go up to 25 tons, solely on single and double fall of chain. All of our products are designed by our LIFTKET-engineers according to the European FEM standards. There is a highly motivated R&D team at LIFTKET who is capable and willing to support the customers and to create special product solutions meeting their requirements. LIFTKET hoists are manufactured in our premises on sophisticated CNC machines by inhouse trained personnel who follow higher standards of quality than required by the latest regulations. Our range of chain hoists are approved by German certification bodies according to CE conformity and by UL to be UL and CSA (cULus) certified. LIFTKET hoists are available for cranes at production facilities and wind turbine service cranes. Special versions are manufactured according to the entertainment industry requirements to be used on stages, at theatres, opera houses, exhibition centres, mobile events and for many other applications.
